<p>According to the investigation, "agentes políticos, servidores comissionados e particulares teriam atuado de forma coordenada para o desvio e posterior ocultação de verba pública" (political agents, commissioned officials, and private individuals allegedly coordinated efforts to divert and conceal public funds).</p>

<p>Federal police executed seven search and seizure warrants in the Federal District and Rio de Janeiro, authorized by Supreme Court Justice Flávio Dino.</p>

<h2>Background Context</h2>
|
|
<p>One year prior, the Federal Police requested that the parliamentarians become investigation targets. However, the Attorney General's Office opposed this request, and Dino followed that recommendation. Consequently, warrants initially targeted only the deputies' aides.</p>

<p>Dino's assessment at that time found insufficient evidence that Jordy and Sóstenes possessed knowledge of the group's illicit activities.</p>

|
<p>Approximately R$400,000 in cash was seized from Sóstenes Cavalcante's residence. The operation investigates crimes including embezzlement, money laundering, and criminal organization.</p>
